Welcome to RideReceipt. By using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Service Description

RideReceipt is a receipt PDF creation tool that helps users generate and customize receipt-style PDF documents based on information they enter, including ride receipts and car wash receipts.

RideReceipt does not provide transportation services, car wash or vehicle cleaning services, payment services, accounting, tax, legal advice, information verification, or official government documents.

You must be at least 18 years old, or the legal adult age in your region, to use RideReceipt.

You are fully responsible for all information you enter, save, generate, and share. You must ensure that all information is truthful, accurate, lawful, properly authorized, and suitable for your intended use.

Generated PDFs are based entirely on information you enter. RideReceipt does not endorse or guarantee the content.

RideReceipt-generated PDFs are for reference and convenience only. We do not guarantee that they will be accepted for reimbursement, accounting, tax filing, insurance claims, legal proceedings, government submissions, platform disputes, audits, or compliance reviews. Different purposes, countries, regions, companies, and institutions may have different document requirements. You are responsible for confirming whether the PDF is suitable for your intended use.

4. Paid Features and Prices

RideReceipt may offer free and paid features. Paid features may include:

All prices are shown by the Apple App Store. We may adjust paid features or prices as needed, subject to the information shown in the App Store and Apple's subscription notice rules.

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

All purchases, subscriptions, and payments are processed through Apple App Store in-app purchases. We do not directly collect your payment information, and Apple is responsible for transaction processing and security.

If you purchase a subscription, it renews automatically according to the cycle shown in the app and App Store. You must cancel subscriptions through Apple ID subscription management. RideReceipt cannot directly cancel Apple-managed subscriptions.

Refund requests and approvals are handled by Apple under its policies. RideReceipt does not directly process refunds and cannot guarantee that any refund request will be approved.

6. Local Data and Backup

RideReceipt V1.0 stores data mainly on your device. You are responsible for backing up important PDFs and records, protecting your device, and preventing unauthorized access.

Local data may be permanently lost if you uninstall the app, reset or lose your device, damage your device, update or downgrade iOS, run out of storage, or experience system cleanup or app failure. Important receipt PDFs should be exported and stored in a safe location.

7. Intellectual Property

RideReceipt and its content, including code, design, text, icons, and trademarks, are owned by us or our licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to legally create and manage receipt PDFs.

The receipt content you create in RideReceipt, including entered information and generated PDFs, belongs to you. We do not own your content, but you allow the app to process it as needed to provide the app's features.

You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, crack, or create derivative works from RideReceipt; use RideReceipt for unauthorized competing services; or claim RideReceipt as your own product or service.

Different countries, regions, platforms, companies, and institutions may have different rules for receipts, reimbursement documents, tax records, and business records.

For users in China, RideReceipt-generated PDFs are not official tax invoices and cannot replace legally issued invoices. You are responsible for confirming whether a PDF is accepted for reimbursement, accounting, platform disputes, or other uses.

For users in the United States and other regions, you are responsible for complying with tax, business, platform, and local regulatory requirements. RideReceipt is not an official tool of Uber, Lyft, DiDi, or any similar platform and does not represent those platforms.

RideReceipt is not responsible for any tax, legal, platform policy, or compliance violation caused by user content or use.

11. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

RideReceipt is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, error-free operation, or acceptance of generated PDFs for any particular use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RideReceipt and its operator are not liable for losses arising from use or inability to use the app or PDFs, incorrect user input, app crashes or instability, processing by third-party apps after sharing, issues caused by third-party services, tax or legal compliance issues, liability resulting from false information, or indirect, special, or consequential damages.

By using RideReceipt, you accept the risks of using the app and remain responsible for the legality and accuracy of PDF content.

12. Handling of Terms Violations

RideReceipt V1.0 does not provide an account system and does not remotely access or delete data stored locally on your device.

If future versions provide accounts, cloud sync, or online services, and we find violations of these Terms, we may restrict access to relevant accounts or online services according to the features and legal requirements then in effect.

13. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect legal changes, app updates, or business practice changes. We may provide notice in the app or on the website. Continued use of RideReceipt means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Severability

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining parts remain effective.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms and the Privacy Policy form the entire agreement between you and RideReceipt regarding use of the app.
