RideReceipt is a utility app for creating ride receipt and car wash receipt PDF files locally on your device. We care about privacy and try to minimize data collection.

1. Information We Handle

RideReceipt V1.0 does not actively integrate third-party error tracking or advertising analytics services, and we do not collect your receipt content for analytics or advertising purposes.

If you choose in iOS settings to share diagnostics with developers, Apple may provide us with crash logs or diagnostic information related to app stability, such as device model, iOS version, app version, and crash location. This information is provided by Apple to help us fix defects and improve stability, and it usually does not include the specific content you enter into receipts.

You can manage whether diagnostic and usage data is shared with Apple or developers in iOS settings.

3. Location and Map Services

The app may request location permission when you use features such as:

Location data is used only to help search nearby places or fill addresses. RideReceipt does not upload your location data to our own servers. Map and place search features are provided by Apple Maps / MapKit, and Apple may process related data under its own privacy policy.

You may revoke RideReceipt's location permission at any time in iOS settings.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

RideReceipt paid features, such as Pro membership and car wash receipt credit packs, are processed through Apple App Store in-app purchases.

RideReceipt does not directly receive or store your bank card, credit card, or full payment account information. Apple handles payment information and transaction data. We only receive purchase confirmation and subscription status information from Apple, such as active or expired status.

Purchase records, subscription status, refunds, and related payment matters are managed by Apple. Please refer to the Apple Privacy Policy.

5. Cloud Services and Sync

5.1 iCloud Backup

RideReceipt V1.0 does not use iCloud backup or cloud sync. Your data is stored locally on your device.

5.2 Future Cloud Features

If future versions add cloud sync, iCloud integration, or account features, we will explain those features in the app, update this Privacy Policy before use, and request any required user consent.

6. Sharing and Third-Party Apps

When you choose to share a PDF using the iOS share sheet, the related content may leave your device through email, messages, AirDrop, cloud storage, or third-party apps.

RideReceipt cannot control how third-party apps or services process data after you choose to share it. Receipts may contain sensitive information, such as passenger information or financial data, so please review the PDF carefully before sharing.

7. No Sale of Personal Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not provide your receipt content to advertisers, data brokers, or unrelated third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising targeting.

8. Data Retention and Deletion

You can delete local history records, favorite addresses, favorite car wash stores, and saved profile information in the app.

Uninstalling RideReceipt deletes most data stored locally by the app. However, PDF copies you previously shared through email, messages, cloud storage, or other apps must be deleted separately in those services.

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it. Apple diagnostic information and App Store purchase records are retained and managed by Apple under its own policies.

9. Children's Privacy

RideReceipt is intended for adult users, drivers, and small service operators who need to create receipt PDFs. It is not designed for children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, or under the equivalent age required by local law. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us.

10. User Rights

Depending on your region, you may have rights such as access, deletion, correction, or portability of your personal data. Because RideReceipt V1.0 stores receipt data mainly on your device, most data can be viewed, edited, or deleted directly in the app.

11. Security

RideReceipt reduces data transmission risk by storing receipt data mainly on your device. In-app purchases are handled through Apple's secure frameworks.

No system can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Please protect your device, Apple ID, and shared PDF files carefully.

12. Policy Updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we may update the "Last Updated" date and provide notice in the app or on our website when appropriate. Continued use of RideReceipt means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
